At birth he was on Similac Blue but his tummy was hurting so we switched him to Similac Orange (Sensitive). He did great no problems! Now he has been switched to reg. Milk well Lactose free milk and everytime he drinks it about 20 min later he spits up & its smells like vomit. What should I do? Not sure please help! Thanks!!

(I'm 15) I'm at home with my 2 year old baby brother (my parents are grocery shopping with my 13 yr old bro.) well, we're having sorta a loud thunderstorm. I was in the living room with my baby bro and he was on the floor playing with his toys that I brought from his room for him. I asked him if he wanted to be read to and he told me "read!" So I told him to just sit on the floor and wait till I came back with the book. So I went to his room to get the book and while I was getting it, a big crash of thunder came and I heard him begin to scream and cry because he got scared so I dropped the book and ran into the living room. He was gone and I no longer heard him crying. I looked for him everywhere in the house but I can't find him. All the doors and windows are shut and locked. I just don't know where he is. I know he's in the house. Anyone know where he might be hiding in the house? I don't want to call my parents because I told them that I could handle everything while they were at the store. So anyone know where he could be? Please, I wanna prove to my parents that I'm responsible. I feel so bad because I thought he'd wait for me to get his book but he got scared of the thunder and I wasn't there to comfort him. So where could a 2 yr old hide?

My 4 month old has a red mark (shaped like a circle) on the right side of his face, in between his cheek & the corner of his mouth. It's kind of hard but really red. I was thinking it may be a spider bite, but not too sure. Does anyone know what this is? So my 7 year old complained of some tummy pains Tuesday night... But woke up Wednesday and said he was fine. Sent him to school. Got a call at 10:30 that he was complaining of tummy ache and go pick him up. He threw up before we left school. The whole day he said his tummy hurt but didn't throw up again until Wednesday night and Thursday morning. Woke up Thursday and was fine whole day( kept him home of course). He woke up fine on Friday so sent him to school. Was great all day Yesterday ... But then threw up last night. Is there some weird bug going around or does this sound like anything your child has gone through

I have a 7month old son who will be 8months on the 30th of this month. He army crawls, sits up by himself. Can roll. He can go from his stomach to his butt. And sometimes crawls on his hands and knees but not for very long. But when i hold him up snd let him stand on his feet he is very wobbly and his feet go close together and kind of bowlegged ik it is normal up untill 2years. But should he be that wobbly? Well I'm 22 and I get married in 6 weeks time :-). Already have a 4 year old beautiful happy daughter. We are in rented property ( a little 3 bed modern new build) which we love. We have been planning our wedding for 2 year and at the time we didn't want to buy. Now we have realised living here how little we can do to it with it not being our own! So now we would like to buy but how no way of getting a deposit together! I am also unsure of my career path I'm currently a dental nurse but i would love to go to uni but this just isn't possible financially! So I unsure what direction to take as I've lost the love for the job. Thing is we would love baby 2 but we don't own out property and unsure when we ever will! What would you do in my position? It would take 5 years to save anything close and nobody can help us out. I know there's these 5% mortgages but again still need money to do it!! X

I started my daughter on oatmeal cereal at about 5 months old... I only recently read you should start with rice first... But anyways she never had any problems with it. She pooped regularly and everything. Now she is almost 7 months old and she doesn't really have any interest in eating the cereal since I started her on baby food. I never got around to trying her on rice cereal before I introduced baby food and I don't want to mix the two in the same time while She's still trying out new baby foods. So is it okay if I don't feed her cereal? I usually end up dumping out what I make her anyways cause she basically just spits out everything anyways lol I have tried her on green beans, bananas, carrots and now pears.

He is spending more time with her than usual, a lot more time than usual. This is his youngest son out of 4 from a previous marriage and is jealous of our new baby. Well my 7 month old has been sleeping on her own at nigh for 10 hours for the past month and now I am struggling to get naps down. She used to breastfeed herself to sleep for naps on me but now she doesn't even want to do that so I have bee trying to put her down on her own for naps, it sometimes works, somedays she does it fine with no tears but like today and yesterday I know she's tired so I read her a few book and breastfeed her and then I put her in her crib with music and her blanket she likes to sleep with and she's bawling and very upset and I leave her for about 30 mins and go get her when she starts to really freak out. So I don't know if I'm doing something wrong or maybe she's teething, she already has her two bottom teeth she's had them for a month so I don't know if her top teeth are coming in or she's just not wanting to sleep. I put her down every 2 hours when I notice her sleepy signs so I try and catch it right away but she just doesn't want to nap, but then she's cranky and doesn't want to do anything. Any suggestions?

cant stop thinking about it! I read two books on it, look it up online all the time and read every leaflet on it. I know all the benefits of it but i still cant change my thinking. My little boy is 6wks on Tuesday and for the last 4wks he's had really bad tummy ache. After and during every feed his screams out in pain, I've tried all sorts of stuff (inafcol, grip, fresh orange in cooled boiled water, cool boild water, leg exercise etc, etc) but nothing seems to be working. He's not sleeping at night as the pain is so bad he just wakes up, I've been back and fourth to the drs but they said its colic and reflux. He's had meds for both of those but nothing is working. He also hasn't opening his bowls for 4days and I'm starting to get worried as my Health Visitor told me breastfed babies poo everyday and he isn't. He feeds every 3hrs and I wind after he's been on each breast and sometimes during but again nothing. I'd really like some advice/ help please Many thanks

Sorry for the bad grammar but I'm in a rush lol. I have been contracting for nearly a week it gets Intence then dies down and away? I've been breastfeeding my son since he was born (6 months). I noticed for the past 4 days that whenever I would BF him, he would squirm and whine and unlatch then latch on again and do the same thing over again. I started a new workout that requires a lot of jumping and it was since the day I started my workout that I started noticing this change. Now, if I were to formula feed him all day, I noticed my breastmilk does build up to where my breast are engorged and when I would BF him at that time, he would only stay latched on for 5, maybe 10, minutes at a time. Before all this, my son used to be a happy camper, now he cries a lot. Does this mean my milk is decreasing? *ive tried giving him a bottle but he drinks about 3 gulps then spits it out on to his clothes! What are some signs of weening, do you know? @Andi: Sorry to hear about that girl, I love breastfeeding my son, it's such a bond <3 I'm starting to think its because I've been stressing over school and stuff. So today my girlfriend had gotten really sick and started running a fever so her mom had to take her to urgent care, I stayed at her house with the baby. After a few hours had gone by my allergies started to kick in and i couldn't breathe ( I'm allergic to to dogs ) so I had to leave. Long story short when I called my girlfriend to tell her I had to go she told me I couldn't take the baby and to leave her with her grandpa. I was kinda hurt but I left it at that. Before I left I made a bottle to feed the baby and my breathing only got worse. My girlfriends step dad aka grandpa said he could finish feeding her, buy heres the catch the baby will only do full feedings with me and everyone else she denies including the mother. The grandpa didn't believe me and kept trying and trying, I sat and watched even though I had lack of air and nothing worked. 4 hours have gone by and I haven't heard anything I've even called and left messages trying to see how the baby was and nothing. My girlfriend can't even call and let me know what's goin on and its getting ridicules. How can I approach her without hurting her feeling because the last time something like this happened, it trunes into a big argument and she told me I couldn't take the baby until she was atleast 4 months old, our baby is only 4days old and I feel as if even though my girlfriend is absent as a mother being as she's in urgent care she should let me take care of her but she perfers her family and it make me look like an incapable father please help
